Designed in 1967 by the architectural firm Frid, Ferguson, Mahaffey, and Perry of Hartford, CT, the Brooks Memorial Library is a two story brick and concrete structure. The east elevation is almost fully glazed, the flat roof has deep overhangs, and the rear of the building is recessed into an embankment.
